Weekly Words from the Pastor

Our choir sang an anthem a few weeks ago titled, Come Alive. Below are a few words and refrain from the anthem.

Oh, breath of life come sweeping through us. Revive your church with life and power.

Oh, breath of life come cleanse, renew us, and fit your church to meet this hour.

We call out to dry bones come alive, come alive. We call out to dead hearts come alive, come alive.

Up out of the ashes, let us see an army rise.

We call out to dry bones come alive.

This morning as we hear stories about Ezekiel and dry bones and Lazarus being in the tomb for four days, we want to feel the breath of God renewing us and calling us to life. We want to know like the dry bones and Lazarus that we are Undead!

God’s Grace & Peace,

Rev. Kathy
